Our Mission
Liberty Elite Volleyball Club (LEVBC) was founded in 2017 by Terri Pryor, a passionate educator and coach with a vision to create more accessible and inclusive volleyball opportunities for youth in Washington County, Maryland, and the surrounding tri-state area. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Liberty Elite began with a mission to provide high-quality, affordable volleyball training for athletes in grades 2 through 12—emphasizing fundamentals, confidence, and character both on and off the court.
What started with small local clinics and a handful of committed volunteer coaches quickly grew into a respected program known for its strong community ties and competitive teams. LEVBC’s coaching staff, many of whom are former collegiate athletes or experienced high school coaches, has remained focused on developing players at all levels, from beginners to those preparing for collegiate play.
A major milestone in the club’s growth came when Liberty Elite acquired its own three-court facility in Washington County. This dedicated space gave the club full control over its training environment, allowing for expanded programming, consistent practice times, and the ability to host tournaments and camps year-round. The facility represents the club’s long-term commitment to volleyball development in the region.
Today, Liberty Elite continues to serve hundreds of athletes each season through clinics, club travel teams, and strength & conditioning programs, with many players advancing to compete at the high school and collegiate levels. As the club evolves, it remains anchored by Terri's founding vision: to build not just great athletes, but confident young people equipped for success in sports and in life.
