WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO AND BRING TO TRYOUTS
All kids trying out for any club team, must obtain an USAV membership prior to tryouts. CHRVA has changed their registration system, for directions on how to obtain an membership please follow this link. Please provide a copy of the participants USAV Membership Card, or, show the registration off of your phone and bring the USAV Medical Release (The NON-notarized form) form with you to tryouts.
*If you hold a 2023 KRVA membership, you do not need to obtain a CHRVA membership for tryouts. Your KRVA membership makes you eligible to tryout with any CHRVA club. If you are selected into a CHRVA club, you will be able to convert your membership through CHRVA.

Fee for tryouts is $10 for online pre-registrations plus (optional) 3 non-perishable food items to support our local food drive.
Fee for walk in non-registered tryouts - $15 at the door plus (optional) 3 non-perishable food items to support our local food drive.
Fee for those on reduced lunches at school, $5 plus (optional) 3 non-perishable food items to support our local food drive.
Fee for those on free lunches at school, FREE plus (optional) 3 non-perishable food items to support our local food drive.
TRYOUT EXPECTATIONS: While a makeup session is available for each age group, you should make every effort to be present at the first session if possible. Our goal is to evaluate all athletes fairly, and this is best done when all potential athletes are present. The second day of tryouts will also serve as a callback for athletes we would like to see more of.
OFFERS: All offers will be sent by email and are valid for 72 hours. Per USAV rules you have 72 hours from when the offer is given to formally respond (by email) with an answer. We ask that you provide an answer as soon as you have made a decision. When athletes decline offers, their offers are then passed onto others who have tried out and are waiting for an offer. NO ONE likes to wait for an offer.
